LAWSON STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE SPRING COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES TO BE HELD MAY 12

Birmingham, AL (05/11/2023) — Lawson State Community College will hold its Annual Spring Commencement Exercises on May 12, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate the accomplishments of the graduating Class of 2023. Friday's ceremony will take place in the Arthur Shores Fine Arts Gymnasium on the Birmingham West Campus of Lawson State Community College located at 3060 Wilson Road S.W., Birmingham, AL 35221.

Lawson State will confer degrees and certificates on approximately 175 of 240 students who have met eligibility requirements for completion.

Lawson State has also partnered with Parchment to offer graduates an official digital version of their diploma. After commencement, graduates will receive an email and text notification with instructions for electronically claiming their diploma. Graduates are encouraged to celebrate their accomplishment by sharing the digital diploma with family, friends, and colleagues.

This is a ticketed occasion and will not be general admission. The public is welcomed to take part in watching the celebration of graduates via live stream:
