Lawson State Community College to Offer Tuition Assistance for Students Enrolling for Spring 2022 Classes
Birmingham, AL (12/09/2021) — Lawson State Community College will again use American Rescue Plan (HEERF III) funds to assist students attending classes this spring. Based on the number of hours enrolled, students registered for the spring semester may be eligible to receive from $500.00 up to $2,500.00 in funds that can be applied to their accounts for tuition or fee payments or that can be refunded directly to them after classes have started for spring semester.
Over the past year, the college has disbursed $4,233,843 to eligible students for education and technology expenses to defray the cost of transitioning from campus-based instruction to online instruction.
Upcoming Spring 2022 Registration Information and Locations:
Lawson State Community College will host on-campus Registration and Advising Support on Wednesday, December 15 and Thursday, December 16 on both campuses from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00p.m. for current and newly admitted students.
