Lawson State To Hold Kickoff Session for Certified Medical Assistant Program
Birmingham, AL (11/24/2021) — If your career goals in healthcare include becoming a Certified Medical Assistant, here's an open door to opportunity. Lawson State Community College will hold a kickoff informational session for the Certified Medical Assistant program on November 30 at 6:00 p.m. in the Jess Lanier Building on the Bessemer Campus. The session will address details of the program and benefits of becoming a CMA. Certified Medical Assistants provide support to medical personnel by performing key duties and responsibilities. According to salary.com, the average salary in Alabama for a medical assistant is $33,359.00.
