LAWSON STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO HOST 2023 CAREER AND COMMUNITY RESOURCE FAIR

Bessemer, AL (03/09/2023) — Lawson State Community College will host its annual Career and Community Resource Fair on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Bessemer Civic Center (1130 9th Ave SW, Bessemer, AL 35022).
The fair will feature more than three dozen businesses who are looking to give out information and recruit for job opportunities and free resources for the community.
Some of the employers and non-profits in attendance will include the Alabama Department of Veteran Affairs, Alabama Power Company, Amazon, America's First Federal Credit Union, Bessemer Police Department, Birmingham Police Academy, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Jefferson County Commission, City of Birmingham, FedEx Ground, Chick-Fil-A, Bessemer Police Academy, Quest for Health Chiropractic Medical West, MacLean Power Systems, YMCA of Central Alabama, and more.
The event is free and open to the public. All interested persons are encouraged to bring a resume.
