LAWSON STATE FINE ARTS SHOWCASE WELCOMES WORLD-RENOWNED ARTIST, STEVE SKIPPER
Birmingham, AL (04/25/2022) — Lawson State Community College's Humanities and Fine Arts Department will host a Spring Fine Arts Showcase on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, honoring world-renowned artist, Steve Skipper, who is native of Birmingham, AL. In preparation of Skipper's visit, Lawson State art students have watched the movie about his life, Colors of Character.
The showcase will start at 2:00 p.m. with an art exhibit reception in the lobby of the Student Success Center located on the Birmingham West Campus at 3060 Wilson Rd SW, Birmingham, AL 35221. The exhibit will be followed by the Choir and Jazz Band concert in the auditorium from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
