Lawson State Offers Free Tax Filing Assistance
Birmingham, AL (04/09/2023) — As the tax deadline looms, Lawson State Community College is offering free tax filing support through the Tax Guided Self-Assistance Program. Tax sessions are scheduled for April 11 at 11:30 a.m. in the ACATT Building, Lab 10 (3060 Wilson Rd, Birmingham 35221).
This Tax Guided Self-Assistance Program provides real-time step-by-step instructions for completion and filing through TaxSlayer. Participating individuals must have an annual income of less than $73,000. This is an in-person session so be sure to bring all 2022 income documents, and the 2021 Adjusted Gross Income or self-selected pin used in 2021.
